XINXING Mobile road coverage mats provides safe, cost-effective access and diverse applications in extreme environments. Our road mat system has been proven to be invaluable fo ruse in a number of industries including oil, gas, utilities, construction, petrochemical, pipelines and many more.
Product introduction
XINXING 5800 × 2000mm heavy duty road mats are large-format Amphi Mats designed to create temporary access roads, heavy equipment routes and working platforms over mud, sand, grass, snow and other soft or sensitive ground.
Each panel provides approximately 11.6 m² of nominal coverage before allowing for overlapping edges and roadway layout. The large panel format helps cover long access routes with fewer individual mats and fewer joints.
Manufactured from high-performance thermoplastic materials, these heavy duty composite access mats provide a reusable alternative to temporary aggregate roads, timber mats and disposable ground coverings. Their overlapping design allows adjacent panels to form a more continuous roadway or equipment platform.
Final mat selection and roadway design must be based on the equipment load, axle or track pressure, ground-bearing capacity, traffic frequency and project environment.

The 5.8-metre panel length covers more ground per mat than smaller portable panels. This can reduce the total number of panels and joints required for long temporary access routes and broad working areas.
Adjacent Amphi Mats use an overlapping configuration to create a more continuous roadway surface. The final panel orientation and connection arrangement should be selected according to vehicle movement and site conditions.
The mats are intended for temporary routes used by trucks, construction vehicles, cranes, excavators and other heavy plant. Equipment suitability must be checked against the complete vehicle and ground information.
A textured roadway surface helps improve tyre or track contact during forward movement. Mud, stones and other debris should be removed regularly to maintain effective surface contact.
The one-piece panel construction avoids the moisture absorption, rotting and splintering associated with traditional timber mats.
The product description identifies UV protection and static-dissipative properties within the thermoplastic material formulation for outdoor and industrial applications.
The non-absorbent thermoplastic surface can be cleaned after use and the panels can be moved to another project. The material is also recyclable at the end of its usable life.
Create temporary vehicle routes over muddy construction sites, pipeline projects and utility work areas while helping reduce deep rutting and equipment bogging.
Spread vehicle loads over a wider surface when equipment must cross sandy access routes, coastal work areas or loose construction ground.
Provide a removable access surface that can help reduce direct vehicle contact with environmentally sensitive ground. Additional geotextile separation or site preparation may be required.
Establish temporary access where snow, thawing ground or seasonal weather makes conventional unprotected routes unreliable.
Help protect grass, landscaped areas and prepared ground from repeated vehicle traffic during construction, maintenance and temporary projects.
Extremely weak, saturated or unstable ground may require drainage, geotextiles, subgrade preparation or engineering controls in addition to the road mats.
Create temporary access roads, turning areas, equipment routes and work platforms for trucks, excavators, cranes and construction machinery.
Provide access to drilling locations, pipeline routes, maintenance zones, equipment staging areas and remote worksites.
Support temporary access for bucket trucks, cranes, cable-laying machinery and maintenance vehicles across farmland, grass and undeveloped ground.
Build temporary routes and equipment platforms for wind farm construction, solar projects, power infrastructure and maintenance operations.
Establish temporary vehicle routes, storage areas and work platforms where permanent road construction is unsuitable or unnecessary.
Provide temporary access routes for emergency vehicles, recovery machinery and supporting equipment in locations without suitable permanent roads.
Connect multiple panels to form temporary parking zones, loading areas, equipment staging surfaces and site compounds.
| Comparison | 5800 × 2000mm Road Mats | Smaller Portable Mats |

Provide the following project information before confirming the mat configuration:
Vehicle and equipment types
Maximum gross vehicle weight
Maximum axle load
Tyre dimensions and inflation pressure
Track type, width and contact length
Ground-bearing capacity
Soil type and moisture condition
Required roadway length and width
Number of vehicle passes
Turning, braking and slope conditions
Installation duration
Project location and delivery destination
Panel dimensions alone do not determine load capacity. Mat thickness, material structure, axle load, tyre or track pressure, ground strength, roadway layout and vehicle movement must be evaluated together.
Survey the route and identify weak ground, slopes, drainage channels, voids and underground services.
Remove sharp stones, metal, tree stumps and large debris that could create unsupported points beneath the panels.
Install geotextile separation or prepare the subgrade when recommended by the project engineer.
Use approved mechanical equipment and lifting procedures to unload and position the large-format panels.
Align the panels according to the required travel direction and overlapping edge configuration.
Install the specified connection hardware or locking arrangement where applicable.
Conduct a controlled first vehicle pass and inspect panel movement, ground settlement and joint alignment.
Continue monitoring the roadway during use, especially after heavy rain or changing ground conditions.
The mats are ground-supported roadway panels. They must not be used to bridge open trenches, drainage channels or unsupported gaps.
Inspect every panel before installation and after removal.
Do not use panels with serious cracks, damaged edges or permanent structural deformation.
Keep the roadway surface clear of excessive mud, stones and debris.
Avoid sudden braking, aggressive turning and unnecessary wheel spinning.
Submit steel-track dimensions and operating movements for review before use.
Check joints and overlapping edges regularly for movement or separation.
Wash the panels after use when required and allow them to drain before storage.
Store panels on a firm, level supporting surface using an approved stacking arrangement.
XINXING has manufactured engineering plastic and matting products since 1989. The company supplies portable ground protection mats, large-format access panels, Amphi Mats and related support products.
Our manufacturing resources include mould pressing, extrusion, CNC machining, cutting, assembly and packaging workshops. The company's total manufacturing site area exceeds 100,000 m².
These capabilities support standard production and project-specific requirements involving panel dimensions, thickness, surface design, connection positions, colour and company identification.
Our engineering and sales teams can recommend a suitable temporary roadway configuration based on the equipment load, ground condition, roadway layout and operating environment.
The nominal panel dimensions are 5800 mm long and 2000 mm wide.
A 5800 × 2000 mm panel provides approximately 11.6 m² of nominal area. Effective installed coverage will be slightly lower where panels overlap.
The mat is manufactured from a high-performance HDPE composite thermoplastic material suitable for reusable outdoor ground protection and temporary access.
Load suitability cannot be determined from the panel dimensions alone. The current technical data sheet and project information must be reviewed to confirm the appropriate vehicle load, ground condition and installation layout.
Thickness and unit weight should be confirmed from the current product drawing before quotation, transportation planning and installation.
Mechanical handling should be planned for large-format 5800 × 2000 mm panels. The approved lifting method and equipment must be confirmed before installation.
Yes. The mats are intended for temporary access over mud and other soft surfaces. Extremely weak or saturated ground may require geotextiles, drainage or subgrade preparation.
Steel tracks can create high point loads and may damage the mat surface or connections during sharp turns. Submit the machine weight, track dimensions and operating movements for technical review before use.
Amphi Mat dimensions and related configurations may be customised subject to moulding method, technical feasibility and order requirements.
Provide the equipment type, gross weight, axle or track load, tyre or track dimensions, ground conditions, roadway length and width, traffic frequency, project location, quantity and delivery destination.
Send us your equipment information, ground conditions, required roadway dimensions, project duration and delivery location.
XINXING will review the available information and recommend the appropriate panel thickness, roadway layout, connection method and required quantity.
