XINXING Duphi Mats are solid core composite road mats designed to create connected temporary roadways, construction access routes and stable working platforms over mud, grass, sand, wet soil and other difficult ground conditions.
Unlike hollow or internally ribbed road panels, Duphi Mats use a solid internal structure without large hollow cavities. The solid core helps provide consistent material support throughout the panel while maintaining a comparatively low-profile design.
Each panel incorporates overlapping edges that allow adjacent mats to fit together more closely. This creates a more continuous driving surface, reduces exposed gaps between panels and helps control mat separation under repeated vehicle movements.
Available with different traction patterns on the two sides, XINXING Duphi Mats can be configured for temporary roads, equipment access, construction compounds, utility projects, oil and gas sites and industrial working areas.
For a complete overview of available temporary access systems, visit our ground protection mats category.
Duphi Mats contain solid material through the internal panel structure rather than relying on large hollow cavities. This structure is designed for demanding vehicle access applications where panel durability, impact resistance and repeated use are important.
The overlap lip allows one panel edge to sit over or under the adjacent panel. This helps form a more continuous temporary roadway and reduces open gaps where mud and soft soil could otherwise be pushed upward between separate mats.
Selected Duphi Mats have different traction profiles on the two sides. Type M and Type N surface patterns provide different contact characteristics, allowing the mat orientation to be selected according to vehicle type, ground condition and project requirements.
With standard thicknesses of approximately 40 mm and 45 mm, Duphi Mats provide a lower-profile alternative to thicker hollow composite mat systems. The reduced transition height can be useful for temporary construction roads, vehicle crossings and work compounds.
Large panel formats cover more ground with fewer individual mats. This helps reduce the total number of joints required across long access roads, vehicle turning areas and equipment platforms.
The broad panel surface helps distribute wheel or track loads across a larger ground area. Correctly specified solid core composite road mats can reduce deep rutting, vehicle sinking and repeated restoration work.
Engineered polyethylene materials do not absorb significant moisture, rot or splinter like timber mats. Duphi Mats can be used in rain, mud, snow and wet working environments when the selected model is suitable for the operating temperature.
The non-absorbent surface can be cleaned after use to remove mud, oil and project debris. The mats can then be inspected, stacked, transported and reused at other project locations.

The specifications above are reference configurations. Actual dimensions, unit weight, material, container quantity and load performance must be confirmed on the approved product drawing and packing plan.
The stated load capacity does not mean that every vehicle of the stated total weight can operate safely on every surface. Actual performance depends on axle load, tyre pressure, track contact area, ground-bearing capacity, traffic frequency, turning force and the level of support beneath the mat.
The XP-01 provides approximately 6.56 m² of nominal panel area. Its 40 mm low-profile solid core structure is suitable for construction access, utility routes, temporary compounds and project areas where transport efficiency and reduced roadway transition height are important.
With a reference weight of approximately 240 kg, XP-01 mats can be positioned using suitable forklifts, excavators or other approved mechanical handling equipment.
The XP-02 provides approximately 8 m² of nominal panel area. The larger format covers long temporary roadways with fewer panels and fewer transverse joints.
Its 45 mm solid core structure is intended for demanding construction, oilfield, infrastructure and industrial access projects involving repeated vehicle movement.
Custom dimensions, thicknesses and surface patterns can be evaluated according to equipment loads, roadway geometry, transportation limits and project quantity.
A customised panel should only be confirmed after reviewing the required mechanical performance, overlap structure, moulding feasibility, container loading and installation method.

| Selection priority | Low profile, solid construction and overlapping roadway continuity | Lower panel weight or specific structural performance |
Neither structure is automatically suitable for every project. The correct choice depends on the vehicle, ground condition, required roadway profile, transport plan and installation equipment.
The overlapping lip helps adjacent mats align more closely and reduces the size of exposed joints. This provides a more consistent surface for vehicles, equipment and site personnel.
Correctly connected overlapping panels are less likely to separate during normal straight-line traffic than unrelated panels placed edge to edge.
Closing the joint between adjacent panels helps reduce mud and soft soil being forced upward through open gaps under repeated wheel loads.
Duphi Mats can be arranged as single-lane roads, wider access routes, vehicle turning areas, equipment staging zones and broad working platforms.
The overlap structure provides a visible positioning reference during installation, helping crews maintain the planned panel alignment.

The layout should include:
Straight roadway sections
Passing areas for two-way traffic
Turning and manoeuvring areas
Equipment staging zones
Material unloading areas
Transition sections between stable and soft ground
Temporary parking areas
Spare mats for replacement or route extension
Required connection accessories
Send XINXING a site drawing or proposed road layout for a preliminary mat quantity calculation.
Reference container quantities are approximately 42 XP-01 mats in a 20 ft container and 111 mats in a 40 ft container. The larger XP-02 configuration has reference quantities of approximately 36 mats in a 20 ft container and 72 mats in a 40 ft container.
Actual quantities depend on container type, packing method, accessories, weight restrictions and destination regulations. A final container loading plan should be confirmed before shipment.
Standard Duphi Mats weigh approximately 240 kg to 295 kg per panel. A forklift, excavator, crane or other approved lifting equipment is normally required for unloading, placement and removal.
Mats should be cleaned and stacked on firm, level supports. Stacks should be secured according to the storage location, mat dimensions and local safety requirements.
Before ordering, confirm the unloading equipment, storage area, installation sequence and availability of lifting machinery at the project site.
Inspect the planned route and identify weak ground, slopes, drainage channels, buried services and unsupported openings.
Remove sharp stones, scrap metal and large debris that could create concentrated point loads beneath the panels.
Complete drainage, grading or geotextile installation where the ground is extremely weak or saturated.
Establish a stable starting point and confirm the planned traffic direction.
Select the appropriate Type M or Type N traction surface for the intended vehicle and ground condition.
Use suitable lifting equipment to position the first solid core composite road mat.
Align the overlapping edge of the next panel with the previously installed mat.
Install the specified connection hardware or fastening arrangement for the selected model.
Conduct a controlled first vehicle pass before opening the roadway to normal traffic.
Inspect panel movement, overlap alignment, ground settlement and connection security regularly.
Additional inspections should be carried out after heavy rainfall, repeated turning, emergency braking or any significant change in ground conditions.
Duphi Mats are ground-supported roadway panels. They must not be used as freestanding bridges over trenches, ditches, drainage channels or unsupported gaps unless a qualified engineering design provides a separate support structure.
Inspect the roadway regularly for panel movement, damaged edges, surface wear, loose connections and local ground settlement.
Remove mud, oil and site debris using water or suitable cleaning equipment. Cleaning is especially important when mats are moved between environmentally sensitive or regulated sites.
Remove mats in the reverse order of installation where practical. Avoid dragging panels over sharp stones or metal objects that could damage the surface or overlapping edges.
Store cleaned mats on stable supports in aligned stacks. Keep connection accessories counted, identified and stored separately to simplify the next installation.

Solid core composite road mats are temporary roadway panels that contain solid material through the internal panel structure instead of large hollow cavities. They are used to distribute vehicle loads and create temporary access over soft or sensitive ground.
Duphi Mats use a solid internal structure and a relatively low-profile panel design. Hollow composite mats normally use internal ribs or cells and may be thicker. The best structure depends on the vehicle load, ground conditions, transport plan and roadway requirements.
Standard reference sizes include 3050 × 2150 × 40 mm and 4000 × 2000 × 45 mm. Custom dimensions may be available subject to technical feasibility and order quantity.
The 3050 × 2150 × 40 mm XP-01 model has a reference weight of approximately 240 kg. The 4000 × 2000 × 45 mm XP-02 model has a reference weight of approximately 295 kg.
Reference capacities are up to 140 tonnes for XP-01 and up to 160 tonnes for XP-02 under suitable ground support and operating conditions. These values are not universal safe working loads for every site.
The overlapping edges help adjacent mats form a more continuous surface, reduce exposed panel gaps and limit mud rising between joints.
Type M and Type N are different traction profiles used on opposite sides of selected Duphi Mats. The mat can be orientated according to the required tyre grip and ground contact characteristics.
Yes. Duphi Mats are designed for temporary access over mud and other soft surfaces. Extremely weak or saturated ground may also require drainage, geotextiles, grading or subgrade improvement.
Steel tracks create concentrated pressure and may damage some surface patterns. Provide the machine weight, track width, track length and planned operating movements before confirming suitability.
Yes. Standard Duphi Mats weigh approximately 240 kg to 295 kg, so forklifts, excavators, cranes or other suitable lifting equipment are normally required.
Duphi Mats are designed primarily for vehicle access roads and ground-supported working surfaces. Concentrated outrigger loads should use correctly sized crane outrigger pads or an engineered support system.
No. Duphi Mats must remain continuously supported by the ground and should not be used to bridge trenches, drainage channels or unsupported openings without a separate engineered structure.
Custom colours, logos, asset numbers and private-label identification are available for selected orders, subject to production requirements.
Reference quantities are 42 XP-01 mats or 36 XP-02 mats in a 20 ft container. Reference 40 ft container quantities are 111 XP-01 mats or 72 XP-02 mats. Final quantities depend on packing and container restrictions.
